  • Language immersion

    • I practice a form of language immersion, watching movies and TV shows in original version, reading all kinds of magazines and books and listening to podcasts and audio books.
  • Whether I am having fun or pursuing knowledge, whenever possible, I do it in a foreign language.
  • What I’m most into is obviously music; it can be very useful if you know how to use it.
  • I learn a lot listening to my favorite songs; whenever the lyrics are available, I sing along.
  • It helps me hugely to improve my pronunciation, which makes it easier to have actual conversations.
  • I look up the words I don’t know in a dictionary, thus slowly but surely expanding my vocabulary.
  • Six languages are more than enough to keep me busy, even though I do not wish to speak all of them fluently.
